As a recently retired teacher, I have decided to create this blog as an interest for me. I enjoy creating reading and writing activities and this way I can continue to do this and share them with other teachers.
I have been a teacher since 1970. My teaching experience includes 7 years Primary School teaching and over 26 years teaching Adult Basic Education in the NSW TAFE (Technical and Further Education) system. For the last 14 years the majority of my students have been adults from a non English speaking background.
Over the years I have found it difficult to source suitable beginner reading material for adults. I hope these resources will be of some use to you all.
